Runners, walkers … it’s time to stop procrastinating and register for the 14th Annual Black Fly Blitz 5K Run/Walk. Everyone who enters by May 1 will receive a FREE T-shirt.
This year’s Black Fly Blitz Walk/Run starts at 9 a.m. on Memorial Day, Monday, May 28. The race takes off from the town green in Wilmot.
Participants can preregister online.
Online registration continues through Friday, May 25.
Until May 25, race registration is:
free for children 8 years and younger
$20 for youths 9 to 17 and
$25 for adults 18 and older
Not to worry, you can still register on the day of the race but the price goes up by $5.
Check-in and day-of-race registration opens at 7:30 a.m. under the tent on the town green in Wilmot. (The town green is at the intersection of Kearsarge Valley and Village roads in Wilmot.).
Awards will be presented at 10:15 a.m. on the Wilmot Bandstand on the Town Green. Addition activities will include music on the bandstand and games for children.
