Wilmot Community Association Bringing Neighbors Together For 60 Years!

Once again, Rachel Seamans gathered up a great crew to get Timmy Patten Park ready for summer. The group made short work of the annual cleanup at the playground and beach on Tannery Pond. The docks are installed and the boats are ready for fun thanks to Adam Glass, Justin Ferren, Matt Seamans and Dave Zuger. Donna Miller and Rachel went to work with rakes and cleared the beach of piles and piles of pine cones.

We are always happy to have local students volunteer. Kearsarge high school students Russell Mellott and Max Brown were welcome additions. Russell and his dad, Henry, went to work with their rakes. Max and his father, also Max, repaired picnic tables.

We are delighted to thank Jay Aubertin for updating the slide. Changing safety codes threatened to make our classic playground slide obsolete. A fan favorite to kids (and quite a few parents), we are delighted that it is now ready for play.

Finally, a note about dogs. You are welcome to bring your dog to the park before 10 a.m. and after 7 p.m. We ask you to keep your dog on leash, especially if there are other visitors and dogs in the park. Finally, please pick up after your dog. There are bags and a trash can with a tight fitting lid available.

Thank you  and happy summer to all,

Ann, Adam, Donna, Amber, De and Rachel
