And the band played on!

A hearty thank you to everyone who braved the rain for Nick’s Other Band.  In spite of the weather, the Wilmot Bandstand was hoppin’. Amber Gove and Rachel Seamans were at it again and the WCA served another one of its delicious bandstand suppers.

Amber cooked up a batch or her famous chowder and Rachel manned the hotdog cooker! Delicious bake goods were provided by Rachel and Jessica Ferren. The team were ably assisted on the serving line and with set up and clean up by Josiah and Avery Gove, Darlene and Carla Hoyt and Nancy Large.

In spite of the rain, everyone was in good spirits and the band played on!

Rockin’ and Rollin’ with Nick’s Other Band

A little rain and a lot of wind couldn’t stop Wilmot from rockin’ and rollin’ on the bandstand on Saturday night. The power might have been out but there was no energy shortage on the Wilmot Town Green. With the help of a few generators, Nick’s Other Band played, the WCA served hot dogs and chowder and the crowd danced like no one was watching!

07-23-2016_Wilmot_Bandstand_15A big thank you goes out to Rachel and Keith Seamans for organizing and serving the bandstand supper. Nancy Large was on hand to serve chowder and De Segerson took charge of the desserts.  Many thanks to Amber Gove for her delicious chowder and Jessica Ferren for the beautiful and tasty cupcakes.

Congratulations to our lucky 50/50 raffle winner!
