Mondays | AA Meeting | 7 p.m.* Big Book Step Study Meeting – open to all

Tuesdays | Tai Chi for adults | 10 a.m.*
Taught by certified instructor Marcia Wyman, the class covers basic tai chi movements for balance, flexibility, strength, and mental concentration. Marcia teaches a modified Yang form that is easy and safe for everyone. The class in on break and begins again September 12. Email Marcia for more information.

Tuesdays | Karate | 4 – 8 p.m.*
Shokotan karate is offered through Tiger Mountain Karate School with instructor Gayle Fleming. Please call her at 763-4774 to enroll.

Wednesdays | Vinyasa Yoga with Michele | 8 a.m.*
This class focuses on core strength and alignment. Good for all levels. Call Michele at (609) 865 3194 for more information. The summer session ends August 23.

Wednesdays | UFOs  | 10 a.m. – noon*
An informal group of crafters, UnFinished Objects (UFOs) meets Wednesday mornings. The group is free and open to all. The UFOs are on break and will be back in the fall. Contact Judy Hauck at 526-4920 for more information.

Wednesdays | Yoga with Coleen | 6 p.m.*
This class challenges us through movement of breath, with energy and vitality! Good for all levels.

Saturday, August 5  | Music on the Bandstand | 6-7:30 p.m.
For six Saturday evenings there will be music at the Bandstand on the Wilmot Town Green. From rock ‘n’ roll to doo-wop and more, it will be great fun. A different Wilmot not-for-profit will be selling food at each concert. Sponsored by the Town of Wilmot, Wilmot Bandstand Committee and WCA. Rain location will be the Wilmot Town Hall. Saturday, August 19  | Barn Sale | 8 a.m.-noon* 
Shop ‘til you drop! From dishes, to garden tools to small furniture and more – we’ll have lots of great stuff for sale. If you are cleaning out your garage or attic this summer – we are excepting donations of gently used items anytime after June 5. Call the WCA at 526 7934 to arrange drop-off.

Friday, August 25 | Red Cross Blood Drive | 9 a.m. – 2 p.m.*
Give the Gift of Life. The need for blood is great throughout the summer and the Red Cross needs your help. Donors are encouraged to sign up in advance.

Sunday, August 27  | Breakfast at the WCA | 7-10 a.m.* 
Save date for delicious fun! We’ll be celebrating back-to-school with a fabulous breakfast.We’ll be serving up eggs, bacon, sausage, ham, hash browns, baked beans, homemade baked goods, fruit, juice, coffee! Cost will be $8. Email Darlene if you would like to donate baked goods or join the kitchen crew on the day of the breakfast.

Saturday, September 16  | R.P. Hale Concert | 7-8:30 p.m.* 
An interdisciplinary artist, musician and astronomer, R. P. Hale comes from a long line of artists. Come hear him play two historic instruments – the harpsichord and the hammered dulcimer.

Thursday, September 28 | Narcan Education Seminar | 7 p.m.*
Part of the Chief David White Memorial Safety and Wellness Series, experts from the Greater Sullivan County Public Health Network/Dartmouth-Hitchcock Community Health Improvement Department will provide medical information as well as practical training in the use of Narcan. Narcan is a medication that can reverse the effects of an opiate overdose. Everyone is invited. Public safety personnel are encouraged to attend.

Thursday, October 12  | Ticks & Lyme Disease | 7-8:30 p.m.*  
Dr. Alan Eaton, entomologist with UNH Cooperative Extension, will give a talk on tick biology, the human diseases they spread here, and how to minimize the chances of becoming a victim. This talk is part of the Chief David White Memorial Health & Wellness Series.

Thursday, October 19  | Flu Shot Clinic | 5-7 p.m.*  
The Lake Sunapee VNA & Hospice will once again be at the WCA to give flu shots. Don’t forget your insurance or Medicare card. Contact the VNA at 526-4077 for pricing and more information.

Saturday, October 21 | Folk Fusion Concert | 7-8:30 p.m.*
Local musicans, Susan Cancio -Bello, Nicole Densmore and Laurie Reeder make up Folk Fusion. They will entertain you with songs from Indigo Girls, Paul Simon, Kate Wolf, and others along with a selection of Celtic ballads.

Sunday, October 29 | Halloween at the Red Barn | 5-7:30 p.m.*
Save the date! We’re planning some new surprises for Halloween. Come by the Red Barn for some old fashion fun. Rachel and Keith Seamans will once again decorate the Wilmot Community Association’s Red Barn for Halloween and offer candy, cookies, cider and other goodies to kids of all ages.

Sunday, October 29 | Trick or Trunk at the Red Barn | 5-7:30 p.m.*
Don’t sit home alone waiting for 2 or 3 kids to stop by. The WCA invites Wilmot residents to participate in a Trick or Trunk. Decorate and fill the back of your car with Halloween treats, park at the Red Barn and distribute goodies to Wilmot’s mini ghosts and goblins. Fun for all!

Saturday, November 21  | Jeff Rapsis / Silent Film & Music | 7-8:30 p.m.*  
Jeff Rapsis is a writer/editor, educator, and also a composer and performer who specializes in creating live musical scores for silent film screenings.
