Mondays | AA Meeting | 7 p.m.* Big Book Step Study Meeting – open to all

Tuesdays | Tai Chi for adults | 10 a.m.*
Taught by certified instructor Marcia Wyman, the class covers basic tai chi movements for balance, flexibility, strength, and mental concentration. Marcia teaches a modified Yang form that is easy and safe for everyone. There will be no class July 2. Email Marcia for more information.

Tuesdays | Mah Jongg | 1 – 4 p.m.*

Tuesdays | Karate | 4:45 – 8 p.m.*
Three levels of  classes are offered through Tiger Mountain Shokotan Karate School with instructor Gayle Fleming.

Wednesdays | Yoga with Coleen | 6 p.m.*
This class challenges us through movement of breath, with energy and vitality! Good for all levels.

The WCA is teaming up with Restoring the Waters Puppet Theater for a magical evening on the beach at Timmy Patten Park. A Tree Called Once will play for one night only – Friday, August 23 at 5:30 p.m. (Rain date Sunday, August 25) W
e need actors and artists, musicians, costume makers and stagehands. Enthusiasts of all ages are welcome and encouraged. Workshops and and rehearsals will be held throughout the summer. Friday, June 21 | Red Cross Blood Drive at the WCA | 9 a.m. – 2 p.m.*
Give the Gift of Life. The need for blood is always great  and more so with during the summer months.The Red Cross needs your help. Donors are encouraged to sign up in advance.

Thursday, July 11 | Fairy & Gnomes Festival | 5:30-6:30
Parents/grandparents are invited to bring their children to the beach to listen to a story and build a house for their favorite fairy or gnome (building supplies provided). Feel free to stay for a swim. Bring a picnic and enjoy an evening on the beach. Co-sponsored by the WCA and Wilmot Public Library. It’s free, open to all and happening at the beach at Timmy Patten Park on Tannery Pond on Shindagan Road.

Saturday, July 13| Pie Breakfast | 8-11 a.m.
My oh my – there’s nothing like … pie for breakfast! A delectable selection of sweet and savory pies, both hot and cold, will be available. And that’s not all. The menu includes fresh fruit, juice, bacon and sausage, coffee, tea and some delectable baked goodies. $10 for adults and $5 for children age 6 to 12. No charge for anyone under 5 or over 100 years of age.

Saturday, July 13 | WCA Bandstand Supper on the Town Green | 6-7:30 p.m.
Bring your appetite and join the fun. The Fondtones will be playing doo-wop and you don’t want to miss Amber’s famous chowder plus hot dogs, snacks, desserts and beverages. Be sure to get your tickets for the 50/50 raffle.

A wonderful way to spend a Saturday evening. Great music from Fondtones and a delicious bandstand supper sold by the WCA. Music on the Bandstand is a joint effort by the Town of Wilmot, Bandstand Committee and WCA. The bandstand is on the Town Green at the intersection of Kearsarge Valley and Village Roads.

Friday, August 23 | Giant Puppets in the Park | 5:30 p.m.
Enjoy a magical evening at Timmy Patten Park with the premier performance of A Tree Called Once. Created for the community by Restoring the Waters Puppet Theater in partnership with the WCA. (Rain date Sunday, August 25)

Saturday, August 24 | Barn Sale at the WCA | 8-noon*
The WCA is having a red hot barn sale … at the Red Barn of course! You’ll find the best bargains around at the WCA. It’s part of Wilmot’s Townwide Garage Sale.

Sunday, September 8 | Wilmotpalooza | all day – various locations
Starting with a pancake breakfast at the WCA Red Barn, moving on to a WVFD and DHART demo, games for kids, Who’s a good dog? contest, food truck lunch, and a great noontime concert on the bandstand …
the list of fun events and interesting activities never ends! 

Friday, September 28 | SkyWatch | 7 p.m. – Davis Home on Kearsarge Mt. Road
New Hampshire Astronomical Society is coming to Wilmot for an evening of stargazing. It promises to be enjoyable and educational experience for all ages. Dress warmly. Telescopes welcome.  Rain/cloud date is Sunday, September 29.
