What’s happening at the WCA?

Mondays | AA Meeting | 7 p.m.* Big Book Step Study Meeting – open to all

Tuesdays | Tai Chi for adults | 10 a.m.*
Taught by certified instructor Marcia Wyman, the class covers basic tai chi movements for balance, flexibility, strength, and mental concentration. Marcia teaches a modified Yang form that is easy and safe for everyone. The class will take a break for the first week in July and the last week in August. Email Marcia for more information.

Tuesdays | Mah Jongg | 1:30 – 4 p.m.*

Tuesdays | Karate | 4:45 – 8 p.m.*
Three levels of  classes are offered through Tiger Mountain Shokotan Karate School with instructor Gayle Fleming.

Wednesdays | Yoga with Coleen | 6 p.m.*
This class challenges us through movement of breath, with energy and vitality! Good for all levels.



Friday, April 5 | Drop Dead Disco – Mystery Dinner| 6 p.m.*
Come down to the WCA Red Barn for dinner and a show. This deliciously fun fundraiser is just $20 per person and is BYOB. Seating is limited and all are encouraged to reserve now

Thursday, April 18 | Senior Luncheon | 11:30 a.m.* 
Hosted by the WCA, the Wilmot Ladies Aid Society, Kearsarge Area Council On Aging (COA), and the Community Action Program of Belknap and Merrimack counties, a Senior Luncheon is a terrific opportunity to spend time with friends while enjoying a yummy meal and live entertainment. Reservations required, to reserve call COA at 526 6368. 

Sunday, April 28 | Exemplary Country Estates of New Hampshire | 2 p.m.* 
Thanks to a generous grant from NH Humanities, Cristina Ashjian will present a program on the country house movement. She will focus on a few great estates and their gardens built between 1902 and 1913, including the The Fells on Lake Sunapee and Saint-Gaudens in Cornish.

The presentation is free, open to all and co-sponsored by the WCA and the Wilmot Garden Club.


Friday, May 3 | Volunteer Party | 5-7 p.m.*
Calling all WCA Volunteers! We would like to celebrate and thank all you do for the WCA. Join us for festive hors d’oeurves and a glass a wine. There might be a few words of thanks given but no long speeches.  

Friday, May 10 | Sock Hop | 7 p.m.* 
That’s right – we’re having a Sock Hop at the WCA. Come down to the Red Barn and dance the night away to tunes from the 70’s, ’80’s, 90’s and today. Stay tuned for more information.  

Monday, May 27 | Black Fly Blitz 5 K Run/Walk | Register online by May 24 |
The region’s favorite 5K starts at the Town Green and loops through scenic Wilmot! Enter by May 1 for a free T-shirt. Day-of-race registration & check-in starts at 7:30 a.m. with race at 9 a.m.
