December

Thanksgiving Weekend – Saturday, January 5 | Light up your Neighborhood
To add sparkle to Wilmot during the holidays, the WCA is encouraging everyone to string up some lights or throw that old sleigh on the roof and ask your neighbors to do the same. This is not a contest, just a gentle nudge to encourage Wilmot residents to don their holiday finery.

Saturday, December 1 | Holiday Craft Fair | 9 a.m. – 3 p.m.
Get your holiday shopping done and stock up on homemade cookies at the WCA’s annual Holiday Craft Fair  at the New London Outing Club Indoor Center, 114 Cougar Court in New London. More than 50 crafters will be selling their handmade wares. As always the Wilmot Ladies Aid Society will hold their Famous Cookie Walk. Rachel’s Café will offer food and beverages throughout the day. Admission is free.

Sunday, December 9 | Santa Comes to Wilmot – Part I | 1-2 p.m.
Once again Santa is dropping everything to visit the children of Wilmot. His first stop is the WCA Red Barn. Children can share their list with Santa and John Swindell will take complimentary photographs of each family or child with the jolly old elf. There will also be a special holiday craft project for children and cookies and cocoa for all.

Sunday, December 9 | Santa Comes to Wilmot – Part II | 2:30-3:30 p.m.
Part II of the Santa event will take place at the Wilmot Public Library with story time with Mrs. Claus, gifts for children and more. Visit the Wilmot Public Library website for details.

Santa Comes to Wilmot is co-sponsored by the WCA and Wilmot Public Library.

Thursday, December 20  | Coffee & Carols | 10:30 a.m.*
Join us for some holiday cheer with an hour of coffee, cookies and carols! Free and open to all!
