It was a dark and stormy night … but spirits were flying high at the WCA Red Barn. From Little Bo Peep and her wonderful sheep to ghouls, ghosts and princesses, it was a fun and colorful evening.
Our first attempt at Trunk or Treat was a wash out but we still had fun. Our Trunk or Treat volunteers abandoned their cars in the parking lot and joined us inside. Having them added to the fun … and the loot the kids carried away.
Here are a few of our fantastic visitors:
Many thanks to Rachel and Keith Seamans and Darlene Hoyt for decorating the Red Barn in all its Halloween finest. More thanks to Rachel and Darlene as well as Roxanne Shed and Carla Hoyt for pitching in during the party. There were games and candy for the kids and homemade cookies and cider for all. A big thank you to our bakers, Darlene Delano and Denise Curtiss.
More thanks to Trunk or Treat volunteers – Amber Gove, Shandi Allen, Deb Beerman, Kayleigh Franco, Lela and Jeannie Henskens, Glenn Lowe, Katie Priest, Laura Jean Whitcomb, Gayle Fleming and Adam Glass. It was great fun to have you with us. Let’s hope for dry skies next year!
