An enthusiastic crowd of art lovers filled the WCA Red Barn on June 24 and 25. Now in its fourth year, Imagination into Art has much to offer – a warm community event, a fabulous reception, art show, silent auction and sale.
This year’s artists included: Nancy Barthold, Mark Beerman, Dick Chase, Dana Dakin, Sue Finney, Jennifer Grasmere, Zack Jonas, Connie Jordan, Ann Feeley Kieffer, John Monto, Dorothy Prats, Nancy Schlosser, Rette Solomon, Leslie Ward, Lisa Whitcher and Sam Wild from Wilmot shared works in a variety of media. Painters Jay Koron and Grace Schust and photographer Helen Wickham of Andover and painter Marilyn Wendling of New London rounded out the show.
We could not have done it without the tireless help of many volunteers. Our thanks go out to Margaret Monto and Deb Beerman for their delicious hors d’oeuvres. Kudos as well to helpers Diane Beaudoin, Mark Beerman, Ann and Mark Davis, Mary Fanelli, Christine Jenssen, Nancy Large, Lindy Heim, John Monto, Tom Palmer, Nancy Schlosser and Tom and Joanne Schamberg.
We are grateful to the community and their continued support of WCA programs and events. Our thanks go out everyone who assisted with Imagination into Art as well as the artists who participated and donated their work to the silent auction. You all made it such fun!
Sincerely,
Judy Hauck, coordinator, Imagination into Art
