It’s Waikiki meets America’s Got Talent with the Aloha Wilmot Luau & Talent Show! We’ll provide the make-your-own sundaes – you provide the talent.
Spread the word! It’s going to be a great afternoon! The fun starts at 3 p.m. on Sunday, August 7 at Timothy Patten Park on Shindagan Road in Wilmot. No one will want to miss this FREE Summer Fun! Grab your Hawaiian shirts and grass skirts, lawn chairs, friends and family and come to the beach!
When the ice cream is gone, there will be hula dancing and limbo to warm you up and then it’s on with the show!
Get your act together and join the fun! Whether you sing, dance, do a trick, tell jokes or juggle – there is a spot for you at the Talent Show. It’s all very informal – no advanced sign-up. Show up at the Luau and put your name on the list to participate. When it’s your turn to perform, the emcee will announce your name and act.
We need your help! We’d like to use the raft for a stage. Email us if you can help us by hauling it out of the water.
The Luau is jointly sponsored by the WCA, the Wilmot Public Library, and W.O.W. You can learn more on YCN Now. Check W.O.W.’s Facebook page for updated information and watch to see where the pair of Luau parrots, Ziggy and Zelda, roost next.
